Ntsiki Mazwai has taken aim at DJ Zinhle for allowing her daughter, Kairo Forbes, to participate in a music concert honoring her late father, AKA.
The outspoken media personality, who was no fan of the late rapper, whose real name was Kiernan Forbes, shared her opinion with her Twitter followers.

Over the weekend, Kairo made headlines by performing a heartfelt rendition of one of her dad’s songs at the 947 Joburg Day.
The eight-year-old appeared alongside her mother, her father’s girlfriend, Nadia Nakai, and Kiernan’s mother, Lynn Forbes.
AKA was shot and killed by unknown gunmen in Durban in February.
In a series of tweets, Ntsiki Mazwai called out DJ Zinhle for what she believes was a poor parenting move.
The former Moja Love presenter even accused the hitmaker of exploiting her daughter for “PR.”
She tweeted in a since-deleted post: “I don’t mean to be harsh, but Kairo is not the first or last child to lose an artist parent.”
She added: “But she is the first to be used for PR to capitalize. It’s so sad.”
She added in more tweets:

“She [Zinhle] must hold herself accountable… Most parents protect their children from the spotlight… they don’t thrust them into it.”
Ntsiki Mazwai wasn’t the only Twitter user to share a similar opinion on DJ Zinhle and Kairo.
Gender-based violence NGO Women For Change claimed that the DJ was using her daughter for “content.”

It’s no secret that Kairo is one of the biggest celebrity child brands in South Africa right now.
The only child of Zinhle and AKA has over 1 million Instagram followers and has reportedly generated millions in revenue through paid partnerships and endorsement deals.

But that wasn’t always the case. In 2017, Zinhle revealed that she would no longer post pics of Kairo on social media, citing concerns about overexposure and safety.
However, in recent years, Kairo has had her own Instagram account and has been more visible online.
