South African Enhle Mbali and Thando Thabethe have been nominated for the Female Movie Star of the Year with Africa Choice Awards 2023.
Also nominated in the category are Ngomotso Christopher and Kim Englebrecht, Gail Mabalane.
Enhle Mbali is a South African actress, TV presenter and fashion designer, known for her breakthrough role on the South African Television Series Tshisa.

Enhle has since been cast on numerous South African television soapies and drama series including the telenovela iNkaba, Moferefere Lenyalong, Soul City, Sokhulu and Partners, Rhythm City, Rockville, and 7de Laan.
Thando Thabethe on the hand, is also a South African actress, and Radio DJ . She is Nivea’s first brand ambassador in Africa. In 2019, Thando was named one of Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30. She is also the host of 947 Drive With Thando.
The organizers announced on their official Instagram page on Monday. According to the announcement, the theme for this year’s edition is “Leading Creativity To Success” The award is billed for its 5th edition as it seeks to recognize outstanding achievement in the entertainment, Fashion & Creative Industry.
Africa Choice Awards is Africa’s most prestigious celebration of entertainment and TV talent behind and in front of the cameras.
