Industry colleagues, close friends, and fans are mourning the tragic loss of Peter “Mashata” Mabuse, a beloved comedian, DJ, radio personality, and MC.
Mabuse, who was also known for his role as a stadium announcer at Mamelodi Sundowns home matches, was fatally shot in Soshanguve in the early hours of Sunday.
The Gauteng police have confirmed that the shooting involved two men aged 46 and 45. One victim sadly passed away in the hospital, while the other sustained injuries.

The incident occurred near the Tshwane University of Technology, where shots were fired at their vehicle. The suspects fled the scene, and the police are currently following several leads.
