Lebo M, the renowned producer behind the award-winning hit production “The Lion King,” has found himself amid yet another dramatic chapter in his personal life. His wealth, however, seems to have been safeguarded despite the turmoil.
In a surprising turn of events, the 60-year-old businessman tied the knot with his estranged wife, Angeline Morake, née Samuels, on February 26, 2022, in Durban.
The couple opted for a marriage out of the community of property, a decision that would later prove crucial in protecting Lebo M’s assets.

The divorce settlement between Lebo M and Morake signed at the South Gauteng High Court, revealed that their marriage had irretrievably broken down, TSZ Mzansi has learned.
Both parties agreed that there were no prospects for the restoration of a normal marriage relationship between them. It was also stated that they had an antenuptial contract with an accrual system in place.
Before their marriage, Lebo M and Morake had a professional relationship, working together at the Lebo M Foundation. However, their personal lives soon became entangled in a web of legal battles and accusations.
In 2023, the couple spent a significant portion of the year in and out of courtrooms. Morake even took Lebo M to the CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration) to demand unpaid salaries.
The drama escalated further when allegations of witchcraft were levelled against Morake by Lebo M during their domestic squabbles.
Despite the ongoing disputes, Lebo M remains resolute in his stance and refuses to pay Morake.
He vehemently denies the rumours that the high court has ordered him to pay her a monthly sum of R150,000 as part of their divorce settlement. He goes as far as claiming that Morake is “mad” and cheated on him with another man.
This latest divorce marks Lebo M’s fourth failed marriage. Over the years, he has ended unions with several former partners, including Viveca Gibson, Nandi Ndlovu, Angela Ngani-Casar (twice), and Zoe Mthiyane.
He has also been engaged twice, once to actress and former “Pop Idols” star Zoe Mthiyane and once to Malefu Ntsala.
It seems that Lebo M’s personal life has been tumultuous, to say the least. Despite his success in the entertainment industry, his romantic relationships have been plagued by controversy and discord.
As the drama between Lebo M and his estranged wife unfolds, the public watches with a mix of fascination and disbelief.
