In a heartwarming social media post, Amapiano sensation DJ Tshegu recently celebrated Focalistic’s 28th birthday. The talented DJ, whose real name is Tshegofatso Petlhu, expressed her gratitude to Focalistic for the trust and support he has shown her since day one.
DJ Tshegu’s journey in the music industry has been nothing short of remarkable.
She started her career at the tender age of five, learning the art of spinning decks from her father, Modisotsile “DJ Shala” Phetlhu, a DJ for Bloemfontein Celtics. Now, at 22 years old, she is one of the leading amapiano musicians in Mzansi.

Focalistic known for hits like “Ke Star,” has been a guiding force in DJ Tshegu’s career. He made her the first soldier of his record label, @18areamusic, and their bond has been unbreakable.
In her birthday note, DJ Tshegu affectionately referred to Focalistic as “My President,” acknowledging his unwavering support and love.
“Ke Birthday Ya President. Thank you for trusting me & making me your first soldier of the @18areamusic family, I can never fully show my gratitude and thank you enough. You’ve guided me and shown me nothing but love and support from day 1, you’ll forever be my nigga. Dankie My President!” Tshegu wrote.
Focalistic’s musical success continues to soar, and he recently announced his first one-man show, “The Straata Nation Address.” Originally planned for Centurion SuperSport Park stadium.
The event will now take place at Pretoria National Botanical Gardens due to unforeseen circumstances. The concert promises an electrifying lineup, including performances by DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Kelvin Momo, and many more
