The costume designer, known as Sk’dee Designs, shared her side of the story, revealing that Wodumo’s dancers, Smiso Zulu and Sanele Smallz, came to her shop to hire items for the IFP manifesto in Hammersdale.

However, they initially requested the costumes for free, claiming they had no money. After some persuasion, they left a mere R150, which was not enough to cover the agreed-upon amount.

Sk’dee Designs expected the items to be returned the next day, but Wodumo and her dancers continued to wear them without paying. Frustrated by the lack of payment, the designer demanded the items be returned, but the request was met with refusal.
