The speculation arose when Sello’s family reportedly did not attend lobola negotiations at his wife’s home in Soweto.

Addressing the rumors on Instagram, the seasoned actor affirmed his commitment to Pearl, expressing his deep love for her.
In a post, he clarified, “I was not going to address the stories which are making the rounds. This was simply because people will always write what they want, and we have no control over that. We, however, own our narrative!”
Setting the record straight for those who support and cherish their union, Sello emphasized the authenticity of their relationship.
“She is the only Mrs. Maake kaNcube that I know and love! Pearl Mbewe Maake kaNcube,” he declared.
