Sechaba Pali’s wife dies in car crash. Gospel singer Sechaba Pali, who has faced controversies in the past, is mourning the tragic loss of his wife, Nompilo, who died in a car accident.
The incident occurred shortly after the couple attended an event in Welkom, despite Sechaba’s initial reluctance to go.

He had wanted to spend time with their children on their son’s birthday, but Nompilo insisted on attending the event, hoping for some quality alone time as a couple.
After the event, they stayed overnight at a hotel in Welkom and planned to run errands before heading back to Johannesburg.
Nompilo was driving, with Sechaba in the passenger seat of their BMW.
Sechaba recalls that Nompilo attempted to overtake a taxi but accelerated too much, causing the car to lose control and ejecting her from the vehicle.
Although injured himself, Sechaba managed to exit the car and found Nompilo bleeding from her nose and mouth.
Unfortunately, no one came to their aid, as onlookers focused on capturing videos and photos instead.
Eventually, an ambulance arrived and transported Nompilo to the hospital, where Sechaba Pali insisted that medical professionals check on her condition.
The morning of the accident held ominous signs, with difficulties opening the car’s boot and a swelled tire indicating damage. Despite these warnings, Sechaba disregarded them at the time.
The tragedy deeply affected Sechaba, especially as Bongani Regional Hospital, where Nompilo was taken, was the same hospital where his father and sister had passed away.
He expressed frustration at the lack of assistance and support from the event organizers and others present.
Sechaba now faces the painful task of returning home without his wife and explaining this heartbreaking loss to their children.
Despite his difficulties, Sechaba remains hopeful, drawing strength from his faith and belief in God’s plan.
