Big Zulu’s Benefit Concert. Siyabonga Johanes Nene, popularly known as Big Zulu, continues to showcase his compassion and community spirit.

The rapper, celebrated for his hits and lyrical prowess in his native language, has taken to social media to share a heartwarming initiative.

Big Zulu’s record label, Inkabi Records, is organizing a special event in Newcastle to raise funds for a family affected by a devastating fire.

The goal is to rebuild their home and provide them with a fresh start. The announcement was accompanied by poignant images  of children in a classroom, remnants of the burnt house, and the makeshift shelter the family now relies on.

In his post, the gentle giant shared his mission:

“Nkabi Nation, do you remember a few months ago I went to help the Newcastle child and the family? I promised that I’d return to build them a house after theirs got burnt.

So this Sunday, 13 August, we as iNkabi Nation will be hosting an event in Newcastle to raise funds in order to fulfill the family’s dream. The poster will be out tomorrow.”
