Mapaseka explained that after experiencing the challenges of motherhood herself, particularly after the birth of her daughter Nema in September 2016.
She felt a strong desire to provide support and guidance to other mothers on their own journeys.
In a video shared on her Instagram timeline, Mapaseka reflected on her personal motherhood journey, from the moment she found out she was pregnant.

In a voiceover, she said, “Dear Diary, I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with Nema. I was so excited and scared at the same time. Being a mother has changed my life completely, and I’m loving every moment of it.”
She went on to highlight the importance of having a support system during pregnancy, emphasizing the need for friends who can relate and provide guidance.
