In just a matter of weeks, Lunga has secured not one, but two significant acting roles. He takes on the character Tebogo in “Love, Sex & 30 Candles,
” a Netflix film centered around four best friends in their 30s navigating the complexities of relationships, heartbreak, and a shocking situation that threatens to tear their bond apart.
This movie also features stars like Candice Modiselle, Amo Chidi, Gabisile Tshabalala, Bahumi Mhlongo, and Loyiso MacDonald.
Shortly after that achievement, Lunga made an exciting announcement about his lead role in another Netflix series called “Miseducation.”
In this hit young adult series, he portrays Sivu Levine. The storyline revolves around Mbali Hadebe (played by Buntu Petse), who, due to her mother Brenda Hadebe’s (Baby Cele) corrupt political dealings, finds herself on the wrong side of the law.
As her family’s assets are seized during a police raid on her home, Mbali is left humiliated and forced to start anew at Grahamstown University in Makhanda.
There, she strives to reinvent herself and escape her mother’s tainted legacy.
Now, the multi-talented actor, TV personality, and model is adding another feather to his cap as he announces his latest gig.
