‘I Have My Stethoscope And I Am Registered With SPCA’: Somizi Pokes Fun At Fake TikTok “Doctor.

Following the revelation that self-proclaimed TikTok “doctor” Matthew Lani had been exposed for his false claims, social media users and celebrities seized the opportunity to inject humor into the situation.

Gauteng’s Department of Health recently filed a criminal case against Matthew, who impersonated a medical doctor on TikTok, providing medical advice.

As questions arose about his identity and qualifications, Matthew claimed that Lani was his social media name, with Zingelwa being his real surname.

He further asserted that he graduated as Bongani Zingelwa from Wits University. However, Wits University issued a statement denying any records of a recent graduate named Bongani Zingelwa or Sanele Zingelwa.

In response to the Dr Matthew Lani saga, Somizi shared a video on his social media platforms, donning a stethoscope and dancing to TLC’s hit song “No Scrubs.”

Captioning his post, Somizi humorously declared, “I don’t want no scrub. I have my stethoscope and I’m registered with SPCA.”
