The sudden and tragic death of South African singer Zahara has left her family in shock and disbelief. Zahara, whose real name is Bulelwa Mkutukana, passed away after being hospitalized for several days. Now, her family has reportedly opened an inquest into her death, seeking answers and justice.

According to Sunday World, Zahara’s brother, Junior Mkutukana, initiated the inquest. The details of the inquest were recorded by Constable Modupe and reviewed by Warrant Officer Netshiunda.

The report states that on December 11, 2023, Zahara complained of stomach pains while in Roodepoort. She was rushed to Olievedale Netcare Hospital, where she tragically died.
