Taking to Instagram, Tyla shared her excitement by posting lovely photos from the event and expressing her gratitude. “I am so honored to be the first winner of a Grammy under this newly introduced category… we made history! I wanna say some more thank you’s to all my Tygers,” she wrote.

The talented star made sure to acknowledge the contributions of her choreographer, creative director, label, and the Fantastic 4.

She also took a moment to congratulate all the winners and nominees, emphasizing the significance of African talent on the global stage. “Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. Africa to the world RRRrrrrr.”

Tyla’s Grammy win is not only a personal triumph but also a milestone for African music. As she continues to make waves in the industry, we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.
