Mbofholowo by Makhadzi is now on the top as number one on iTunes and the news was shared by the first lady herself through her social media.
The 20-track project is less than a week in the market and it is already making serious waves.
Makhadzi shared the milestone on Instagram with the caption “ Sitting number 1 on iTunes, Madam boss please come teach me how to activate mood, my friend”

So far, the singer and songwriter Makhadzi has released thirteen studio albums and one extended play (EP).
The new album “Mbofholowo” which translates to “Freedom” in English, is a testament to Makhadzi’s growth as an artist and her ability to consistently deliver chart-topping hits.
The album is not just a musical journey but also a reflection of Makhadzi’s personal experiences, observations, and insights. Each track tells a story, whether it’s about love, heartbreak, or celebration, making it relatable to a wide audience.
Shei disclosed that Mbofholowo was done independently and is the first artwork under her record label “ Makhadzi Entertainment”.
