Four years after a local musician Sjava was put behind bars over a false rape charge by Lady Zamar, the singer hasn’t been able to catch breath on social media.
In November 2019, Lady Zamar accused Sjava whom she was in a relationship with of raping her and abusing her emotionally. At the time, angry South Africans supported her, while Sjava’s career was almost ruined. The rape case Lady Zamar filed against him was dismissed for lack of merit.

Following the chain of events, and learning that Lady Zamar lied about the claims, the singer has suffered hatred and backlashes online, as tweeps find it difficult to forgive her.
On Sunday 16th July, Zamar shared a disturbing e-note on Twitter, asking to be forgiven by haters and those who continue to make life miserable for her online.
“Do you want me to kill myself, do you want me to die, be murdered, or go to jail to make you guys happy… do you guys want me to stop making music or publicly cry so you can see how I feel about what happened to me?” She wrote.
Some angry tweeps lashed out, saying that it was better she took her life for falsifying a rape in a country where rape statistics are high.
Other tweeps demanded that she publicly apologize for peace to return.

Problem is that your story doesn’t make sense.
1 You were in a relationship with that guy.
2 Secondly, you continued with the relationship after the alleged sexual assault.
