Konka Hitmaker, DJ Mbali Umshove Has Passed Away

The South African music industry has been hit with yet another sad event, as Amapiano artist, Amahle Nduli with stage name DJ Mbali Umshove has died.

Her death was announced by her family on instagram on Monday 24 July.

“We would like to formally announce Amahle Nduli (DJ MBALI UMSHOVE)’s passing. The family appreciates your prayers and asks for privacy as we grieve the loss of our cherished daughter. Details about her memorial service and funeral will be announced soon,” the statement read.

The 27-year-old’s memorial service took place on Wednesday, 26 July, in Maboneng, Johannesburg. She’s famous for creating the hit song, Umshove featuring Kabza De Small and Leehleza.

TSZ Mzansi learned that the DJ died at the hospital after she suffered an allergy.

“Some white and brownish fluid started coming out of her mouth and she was struggling to breathe, she was gasping for air”
In an attempt to treat her after being rushed to the hospital, she died” the publication said.
