Jub Jub was charged to court after a rape, assault, and attempted murder case was opened against him by a very popular celebrity.
Gauteng police spokesperson Lt-Col Mavela Masondo confirmed that the musician handed himself over to the Brixton police station on Thursday morning.

“Police can confirm that a well-known rapper handed himself over to the police in Brixton on Thursday, 27 July 2023, after a warrant of arrest was issued against him,”
“He is expected to appear before the Johannesburg magistrate’s court today facing charges of rape, attempted murder, and assault,” he said.
The publication read that the case was opened by a famous South African celebrity.
“The matter has been under investigation and after the docket was taken to the NPA for a decision, a decision was taken that the suspect needed to be arrested,” said a police officer whose identity wasn’t disclosed.
“After getting a tip-off that he was wanted by the police, he decided to hand himself in.
“After police were satisfied that there was a strong case against the suspect, the NPA decided to prosecute.”
Jub Jub had previously faced the law and this isn’t the first time he’s been arrested and charged for murder.
In 2021, the actor was quite controversial as a host on Uyajola 9/9 and left people questioning his rude attitude towards people who appeared with him on the reality TV show.
Despite this, he became a household name as people across South Africa tuned in to watch the Mzansi version of Cheaters. The season came to an end and he appeared to be on a high because of its success.
He soon took podcastwithmacg to make some comments about his past relationships with actress Amanda du Pont and singer Kelly Khumalo.

Amanda did not take lightly to him mentioning her on the show and shortly afterward, accused the TV host of raping her during their two-year-long relationship.
The accusations resulted in the media personality apologizing to Amanda for discussing her on the podcast while his mother took other action to silence both Amanda and the other women who came forward to accuse her son of rape.
