South African Singer and Global sensation Busiswa Gqulu, popularly known as Busiswa has reacted to the video of DJ Maphorisa urging South African artists to emulate Nigerian artists’ format in promoting their music if they want to grow.
In a tweet, Busiswa commended the DJ for the insightful advice, wishing that more talks about the growth of the industry could be given, expressing that the DJ’s thoughts aligned with hers.

Busiswa added that, for dignity to be preserved, much is required.

Tsz Mzansi reported that the DJ had taken to Twitter to advise younger Amapiano artists. In a video, DJ Maphorisa suggested that South African artists should leverage on exposure, and collaborate with other artists who are ahead of them.
Maphorisa’s advice is coming timely, given the current state of the entertainment industry globally, With the rise in opportunities to release and distribute music to a global audience.
