Burna Boy’s concert which was scheduled to hold at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa, has been postponed.
The dynamic and controversial Nigerian Afrobeat singer was scheduled to sell out the +90,000-seat FNB Stadium after previously selling out the 41,800-seat Citi Field in Queens, New York, and the 80,000-seat London Stadium.

His management stated that the show has been ‘canceled’ and ticketholders must be refunded in full.
“Sadly, it is with great regret that we must inform you that, despite my team’s effort, the show in Johannesburg on Sept 23rd will be canceled due to the inability of the promoters to fulfill their contractual, financial, production, and technical obligations”.
“Production vendors have still not been paid and as such, it is evident at this point that the agreed production standard needed for this venue size cannot be achieved. We hereby state that all ticketing companies must ensure that everyone is refunded in ful”.
TSZ Mzansi learned that the event was postponed due to low ticket sales and other logistic issues and according to a report, the new date is now 16 December 2023.
His last show in South Africa was in 2022, where he headlined the DStv Delicious Festival, which sparked controversy and faced backlash from fans.
