The media guru recently secured a big gig with Miss South Africa 2023, she will take center stage as the host for the prestigious event scheduled to hold at the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria on 13 August.
Popular Metro FM hosted Bonang Matheba on Wednesday morning, and she talked about how she was looking forward to and preparing to host Miss South Africa.
While on air, B flagged her broadcasting skills which got her fans very excited to hear her voice on radio again.
Speaking about hosting Miss SA 2023, Matheba says she will be wearing a dress worth $32,000 which is around R60,000.
I planned for this, it’s my job, this is what I do. This is for me, it’s my Superbowl performance. We’re dressing for where we want to go, not for where we are,” she said.
Matheba has worn some very expensive outfits over the years, including gowns and jewelry that cost well over a million and this may not across as a shocker to many who have become conversant with her fashionable and luxurious lifestyle.
The price of her dress however got her interviewer, DJ Sabby, and others in the studio stunned but Bonang quickly followed up by explaining that Miss SA is a big platform and Miss Universe and other global dignitaries will be in attendance.
