On July 13, fans and friends gathered to celebrate what would have been the 26th birthday of late South African Amapiano musician Killer Kau.
Though his actual birthday was on July 3, the event was scheduled for a later date, marking it as Killer Kau’s 2nd annual birthday celebration since his untimely passing in 2021.
The celebration boasted an impressive lineup of seven artists, including Lady Amar, Robot Boii, Mr JazziQ, Justin, and Pcee.

Lady Amar, a close friend of Killer Kau, shared her excitement on social media, posting, “Tonight I’m out in Soweto for my bestie’s 2nd annual birthday celebration, Amar Million Gang, let’s all meet that side, see yall later.”
Her words encapsulated the event’s spirit, bringing together fans and friends in a heartfelt tribute.
Killer Kau tragically lost his life in a ghastly car accident in August 2021, alongside three others, including another famous star, Mpura. Despite his untimely departure, his legacy continues through his music and the memories of those who knew him.
The tickets for the event were made available to the public, allowing anyone who wished to honour his memory to join in the celebration.
