Bulelwa Mkutukana, also known as Zahara, recently tied down the knot with her boyfriend. The singer has been dating her boyfriend, Mpho Xaba, for just over six months before he decided to propose to her. What a romantic!!
According to the Phendula singer, she thought she was going to be part of a podcast interview. Little did Zahara know that Xaba made plans to propose to her. The engineer proposed with rose petals and champaign ready. To say, she was shocked must have been such an understatement!

Xaba publicly in front of Zahara’s family and friends and to which she said yes. Her family was in full celebration during the whole scene.
Zahara took her engagement to Twitter saying “I said yes” alongside a picture of the couple. The picture proudly shows her engagement ring with the pair in an intimate position:

Twitter fans immediately rose to action as many commented on Zahara’s post. There were different reactions to the post. A good number were very happy for her, however, there were some that were in fact not very positive:

What is a celebrity without a few negative comments right? This does not stop the singer as she only keeps moving up. Asides her beautiful love story, Zahara is hosting her own reality show titled “Zahara: As I Rise”.
This show has been airing since early of last month. The show allows Zahara to connect with her fans as they get to know her with no topic being off-limits. With this new engagement, fans will no doubt have a peek on what’s going on in her new relationship.
