Will Emtee ever leave our screens! Mthembeni Ndevu, also known as the rapper, Emtee is once again making headlines for another reason.
The rapper has been the centre of attention lately, all the wrong reasons. His wife, Nicole Kendall Ndevu accused him of being abusive towards her. It led to his arrest that happened earlier this month. Although Emtee got released on bail, he is still being branded as a wife beater. He has become set on clearing his name against all allegations.

According to Nicole, the rapper was always abusive towards her which she revealed on social media. She apparently took an image of her swollen face and showed the public. What worse is that she was already seven months pregnant when the news broke out.
The police confirmed that Emtee handed himself over on the 8th of March, 2023. He stated that his reason for doing this was that he had nothing to hide. The rapper revealed this in a publication saying:
“I was informed that a warrant of arrest was out. I know I have nothing to hide, I am not an abuser. I went to the police station with my lawyer.”

Additionally, the rapper claims that it is in fact the other way round. He states that Nicole was lying and trying to ruin his reputation. According to him, she was the actual abuser in their marriage and further claimed he has bruises of her assault to show for it.
We have no clue who is in fact telling the true story. Is Nicole telling the truth about Emtee’s abuse? Or is the rapper really telling the truth about her?
