Nadia Nakai, the lover of the late rapper AKA, has let her emotions out of the bag recently while recounting the day her lover passed away.
AKA was shot down outside a popular restaurant in Durban in early February, a murder suspected to be planned.

After his death, Nadia disclosed that she has no plans of falling in love again following her lover’s death. Since then, the fellow rapper has been vocal about her emotions by sharing pictures and videos of them having memorable moments.
However, Nadia Nakai seems to finally be ready to talk about his death. She opened up about where she was that fateful day when she received the news and what went through her mind upon realizing that the love of her life was gone forever.
While recounting on the day, the television personality teared up. According to her, she said she initially thought that he was shot on the neck or the arm before getting confirmation that it was more that.
“I was at Ayanda’s birthday party where she had asked me to perform. I spoke to AKA ten minutes before he passed away. He called me in the greatest spirit. Baby what are you wearing and he’s like the boys and I are about to leave,” she said.

Nadia said she was shocked when she received the news. She said that she knew there was nothing she should do but to be there.
