In an Instagram announcement, DJ Maphorisa revealed the release of “Twerka” and didn’t hold back when it came to addressing the criticism. One user, mino_serenity, bluntly called the song “trash.” DJ Maphorisa’s witty response? “Trash ke mao. Whatever, who said I want it to be a smash?”

Another user, l0v3.mathab0_, expressed disappointment and accused DJ Maphorisa of ruining the song. DJ Maphorisa’s sassy comeback? “Ruined ke kokao.”
