In a candid and heartfelt interview on Mpoomy Ledwaba’s podcast, South African rapper Cassper Nyovest revealed the truth about his breakup with his baby mama, Thobeka Majozi.
The episode showcased a vulnerable side of the artist as he discussed his journey towards self-discovery and redemption. Nyovest admitted that his addiction to alcohol and sex had taken a toll on his life and ultimately led to the end of his relationship with Majozi.

He shared that during their time together, he engaged in multiple sexual relationships, often sneaking out in the middle of the night while Thobeka and their son, Khutso, were asleep.
Reflecting on his actions, Nyovest acknowledged that he was blinded by his desires and lacked emotional connection in his relationships. He realized that God was trying to show him that he was destroying himself with his reckless behaviour.
“You’re having difficulties with women because you only see one thing,” he admitted. The rapper further revealed that he has been single for the past two years and has been actively co-parenting with Majozi.
He expressed remorse for the pain he caused her and acknowledged the mess he had created. “I hurt my baby mama so much. We broke up, and I have been single for two years,” he confessed.
Nyovest recognized that his ego and sense of superiority had contributed to his downfall. He admitted to having a wake-up call that made him realize the destructive path he was on.
“I was humble in the sense that I was a good person and didn’t offend anyone. I was headed straight for hell if I didn’t have that wake-up,” he revealed.
