Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, AKA Black Coffee shares insights about his private life on the Podcast chill with MacG. According to him, he does this to “avoid unnecessary drama and pressure”.
The South African DJ, record producer, and songwriter particularly dive into his messy divorce and dating life with his ex-wife, Enhle Mbali.
Coffee explains his past relationship with Enhle, saying they fell apart due to wanting different things in life:
“I think I can safely say we both started wanting different things. If I can’t say we, I’ll say definitely I did. Over time we started wanting different things and problems start”

He also addressed the violent allegations made against him and denies abusing her physically and emotionally. However, Coffee admitted to cheating on Enhle and having children out of wedlock.
Coffee further clarified that he is not interested in dating Enhle Mbali again and has moved on with his life. But this does not stop them from co-parenting well. According to him, they found a common ground and try to get along for the sake of the kids.

Asides he and Enhle’s relationship, Coffee states that he has no plans of getting married again:
“Today I know for a fact I won’t get married again. I’m clear about that because I am now in a better space in understanding who I am.
“I also understand the kind of pressure society puts you in without ever backing you up. I am with someone, and I am in the most peaceful place with that understanding that there is no pressure.”
