Since her debut on the first season of “The Real Housewives of Durban,” Nonkululeko “Nonku” Williams has chosen to share her experiences of abuse at the hands of her ex-husband.
Throughout her three seasons on the reality show, Nonku refrained from disclosing her ex-husband’s personal details but bravely recounted the trauma she endured during their five-year marriage.
She revealed instances of verbal abuse where he would insult her, including calling her ugly.
Additionally, she disclosed episodes of physical abuse, shedding light on the torment she endured.
In a series of videos currently circulating on social media, shared by content publisher @Peche Africa, the mother of three continued to share her harrowing experiences:
“I remember I was running out of the house, and he went and took his gun. He chased me with the gun and cocked it, then he said, ‘Where’s my wallet?’

Deep down, I knew that if I had said ‘I don’t know’ one more time, he was going to pull the trigger. So, I said, ‘Okay, let me go get it.'”
In the second part of the video, the businesswoman went on to reveal further details:
“He would use offensive language that I can’t even repeat. He would say things that were beyond words, all because I forgot to bring his jacket.
I was six months pregnant with his child, and all I did was forget his jacket. He just continued berating me in the car, saying what a disgrace I was…”
