Natasha Joubert, the current Miss SA, marked the one-month milestone of her victory with a heartfelt Instagram post on September 13th.
The model and beauty queen was crowned Miss SA on August 13th, adorned with the new Mowana crown, often referred to as the “tree of life,” at the SunBet Arena in Times Square, Pretoria.
Natasha had previously secured a spot in the top three of Miss SA in 2020 and represented South Africa at Miss Universe.
Bryoni Govender emerged as the Miss SA runner-up, later being selected to represent South Africa at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador in November.
Nande Mabala claimed the title of the second runner-up. Reflecting on her journey, Natasha candidly shared her battle with depression, revealing that she sought professional help after not making it to the Top 21 at the 2020 Miss Universe pageant.
Despite the setbacks, the 26-year-old BCom Marketing graduate has achieved remarkable success.
She owns her fashion brand, Natalia Jefferys, specializing in couture for special occasions such as matric dances and weddings. Born on July 23, 1997, Natasha has brought immense pride to her country.
During her reign as Miss SA, Natasha has chosen not to participate in any international pageants, focusing on her responsibilities and contributions to South Africa.
