Spotify has named the award-winning singer, Makhadzi, as its ambassador for this month as part of the Spotify Equal Africa initiative.
This program is designed to empower and showcase the voices of African female artists while breaking down barriers and expanding their music catalog to a global audience.
Makhadzi, known as Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona in real life, joins a lineup of talented artists including Khanyisa Jaceni, Tyla, Sio, and Elaine in this important initiative.
The aim is to amplify the voices of African female artists who have consistently proven themselves as formidable talents in the music industry, often overcoming challenges with limited resources and opportunities.
Taking to her social media platforms, the Ma Yellowbone sensation expressed her gratitude and belief in the importance of trusting in one’s talent and divine timing.
She shared, “The key is to believe in yourself and wait for your time. If you believe in your talent, then you need to trust and believe in God’s time; we know His time is always the best.”
