DJ Tira Diversifies Talents As He Joins Cast Of E.tv’s Hit Drama “Smoke & Mirrors” (Video)

DJ Tira is set to expand his repertoire by making his debut in e.tv’s drama series, “Smoke & Mirrors.”

The multi-talented musician and entrepreneur, known for his roles as a DJ, MC, and influencer, has been exploring the world of acting.

This move comes after his cameo role in the SABC2 drama “Muvhango,” where he visited aspiring talent Vhutshilo Mukwevho to discuss his future, inspired by Vhutshilo’s impressive mixtape.

Impressed by Tira’s acting skills, the industry has recognized his potential, and he has now joined the cast of “Smoke & Mirrors,” a drama that premiered on e.tv in April, taking over the slot previously held by “Imbewu.”

While Tira has kept details about his role under wraps, the excitement surrounding the set is palpable.

“Smoke & Mirrors” unfolds in the small mining town of Emnyameni, where appearances are deceptive, and nothing is as it seems.

The narrative revolves around Thandiswa, a character who works as a hairdresser during the day, an escort by night, and is on a mission to expose and confront “The Unholy Trinity,” a group of morally corrupt men who control Emnyameni.

The drama features an ensemble cast including Charmaine Mtinta, Meshack Mavuso, Lusanda Mbane, Zoliza Xaluva, Kabomo Vilakazi, Siyabonga Raymond Sepotokela, Zinhle Mabena, and JT Medupe.
