“Two weeks ago, we had the privilege of bearing witness to our son Nkosinathi’s Matric Dance. Where did the time fly off to! This day was brimming with emotions, realizing that my boy has turned 18 and stands on the threshold of a broader world.
His stunning date, Sophie, exuded sheer elegance in a creation by @gavinrajah,” she shared.
As a devoted mother, Basetsana Kumalo continued her heartfelt message to her son Nkosinathi with words of advice and encouragement for her son. “To my son – Never allow anyone to undermine your worth. Carry your head high at all times.
Sustain your self-belief unwaveringly. Forge ahead and set your sights on the skies. Though I may no longer cradle you in my arms, my heart will forever embrace you.
You’ve granted me countless reasons to swell with pride over the man you’ve evolved into. Yet, my proudest moment is when I proclaim to others that you are my son. Love eternal, Mom.”
Basetsana extended gratitude to the community that assembled to celebrate this milestone, recognizing the communal effort that contributes to nurturing a child.
