DJ Mbali Umshove, an Amapiano musician named Amahle Nduli, has passed away. Her death was announced in a statement from the family on Monday, July 24, 2023.
“We would like to officially announce the passing of Amahle Nduli (DJ MBALI UMSHOVE). As we mourn the loss of our cherished daughter, we all thank you for your prayers and requests your privacy.

The letter stated that more information regarding her memorial service and funeral would be released soon.
She is well-known for writing the song Umshove, which features Leehleza and Kabza De Small. On July 26, a memorial service for the 27-year-old was held in Maboneng, Johannesburg.
According to the family representative, the DJ’s cause of death could be an allergy. He went further to say “Some white and brownish fluid started coming out of her mouth, and she was seen gasping for air.”
After being brought to the hospital, she passed away as the doctors tried to treat her.
Tributes continue to roll in, and many of DJ Mbali Umshove’s fans still have unanswered questions about the cause of her untimely death.
Her mother, Kholeka Mevana, told the Daily Sun that she had passed away.
She stated that they are still awaiting the laboratory’s autopsy report to determine the exact cause of her death.
Her cause of death will only be revealed during the autopsy. However, based on what is known, she experienced a sudden uneasy feeling in her last minutes. She had informed those around her that she wasn’t feeling well.
We lost her in that way. Right now, I’m feeling awful, broken, and heartbroken,” the mother admitted. The DJ also gained popularity for her 2022 song Konka, which she published.
Nationwide, her fans expressed sorrow over her passing and offered affection for her family.
According to Archbishop Cyber, her death saddened him and showed a shattered heart.
