DJ Zinhle and wife to Murdah Bongz was one of the many South African celebrities, fans looked forward to seeing at the just concluded Hollywood Bets Durban July which was held on Saturday, 1 July, at the Greyville Racecourse.
The event was graced by her husband Murdah Bongz who shared photos from the event on Instagram but Zinhle was not spotted in any of the photos.

Zinhle revealed that her absence at the Durban was related to the death of her first baby’s father AKA.
The DJ said that she is going through a tough time dealing with the rapper’s death, adding that she just wasn’t ready for Durban emotionally.
According to TimesLIVE, she said: “I cannot lie to you guys, I’m not ready for Durban. Emotionally, I’m not ready at all. I get a little anxious thinking about being in Durban.
It’s going to be a while before I can be in Durban. I’m going through the most. Forget about seeing me in Durban. It’s not even that I am mad at Durban.

Zinhle who was billed to perform at DJ Tira’s “Fact Durban Rocks” event but did not show up told TimeLive that she was optimistic about being in Durban in the nearest future and hopeful that nothing changes when the time comes.
“It’s just hard. It’s only been three months since Kiernan died, so maybe with time. But I’m hoping I never change my mind” she said
