Somizi Mhlongo has once again brought out the philanthropist in him after he made a Pledge to take full responsibility of a student’s matriculation dance.
What we love about many of our celebrities, is how they always come through for those in need. The likes of Boity Thulo, Anele Mdoda, Bonang Matheba, Nomzamo Mbatha, Lasizwe, and so many others are forever pledging airtime, groceries, electricity vouchers, bursaries, and much more.

Mhlongo is also one of those personalities who have continued to show how generous they can be. The celebrated media personality and overall entertainer has just come through for a Matric leaving student.
This comes after information was shared on twitter that the particular student from a single parent family, whose mother happens to be a security guard, and due to circumstances, the student going by the name Tshepiso is finding it hard to make it to her first and last Matric dance.

We all know how everyone goes all out for this kind of event. Parents spend so much money for their children to look all glamorous. There is hair, makeup, dresses, tuxedos, luxurious cars, the works. The tweep that shared Tshepiso’s situation tagged personalities like Julius Malema, Anele, Nomzamo, Somizi, Pearl Modiadie, Benjamin Dube, Lebo Sekgobela to assist.
Somizi did not waste time and jumped in. He stated that he will get Tshepi a full glam squad, including her hair, make-up, and dress and all he needed her school’s bank details, to enable him fulfil the mission.
