The River has announced that it will return for a fifth season with a bang.
A Twitter user shared the news on the social media platform on Friday
The River, a South African telenovela, follows two Pretoria families, The Dlaminis and The Mokoenas, who are brought together and divided by the discovery of a diamond in Cullinan.
To name a few, the cast includes well-known actors and actresses such as Sindu Dlatha as Lindiwe Dlamini, Larona Moagi as Tumi Mokoena, and Lawrence Maleka as Zolani Dlamini.
“Season 5 of the popular 1Magic telenovela will be part of the Multichoice 2022 slate,” the user said on the post.
Fans have admitted that even if they don’t watch much TV, they can never miss an episode of The River.
