According to a report, Kelly Khumalo was telephoned twice by one of the suspects accused of killing her then-boyfriend, soccer star Senzo Meyiwa, before his death, which led to her being linked to his death.

Investigation revealed that Kelly Khumalo wiped her phone clean at 1:31 a.m. on October 27, 2014, just hours after Meyiwa was shot dead.

This has left many with a mountain of confusion, anger, and anxiety, with lots of unanswered questions if Kelly Khumalo truly killed the footballer in her family home and why she did.

Kelly said while she’s grateful for the love and support from her fans who have stood by her, that the reason why she’s hated so much by others is because some South Africans were finding it difficult to deal with the fact that she wasn’t the one who died on the fateful day Senzo was murdered.
