Canadian songwriter Tamia Marilyn has gotten on South African’s nerves and ruined what was supposed to be an exciting moment by failing to get familiar with some of the city’s names.
South Africans have expressed disappointment in Tamia for mixing up city names during her concert and music tour which kicked off last week in South Africa.

Tamia Marilyn’s show started at Cape Town’s GrandWest Casino and then down Durban’s ICC where she was supposed to sing in Pretoria. But due to excitement, she was requested to stay an extra day on Sunday to perform.
However, the audience was not pleased with her on Saturday as she consistently mixed up SA city names.
“I had so much fun, but Tamia kept saying ‘Johannesburg.’ Organizers? We are Pretoria” a user tweeted.

“I was cringing so bad. Wanted to somehow take the mic and address that we are not JHB”.
I thought she has learned our Provinces. She has been coming here for so long so ignorant,” tweeted another user.
This isn’t Tamia’s first time in SA, hence, her audience expected her to have been familiar with the city names.
