Since its premiere, the production has received endless praises with many commending the producers of the epic drama.

The Executive producer of Shaka ilembe, Nomzamo Mbatha has expressed her gratitude for all the love the first episode has received from viewers on Twitter.
“The love for episode one of #ShakaiLembeMzansi has been overwhelmingly beautiful.” she wrote .
Nomzamo disclosed on Twitter that the process hasn’t been easy even though everything seemed to be in place .

“I know I may give the elusion (illusion) of confidence without the fragments of self-doubt, but this has been a brave and hard journey.”
The journey is nowhere near the end with eleven more episodes to go and celebrations aren’t just about to fully take place. She added.
Shaka ilembe is a 12-part television series with the first episode premiered in June with 11 more parts to go.
The Drama airs Sundays on Mzansi Magic, DSTV at 20:00.
