South African rapper Nasty C is set to join the list of music stars to have their lives publicly documented after MTV revealed that the singer will have his own documentary show.
The documentary, called I love it here is named after his latest album and will follow the usually-private Nasty C’s life in the studio, with family and friends and his social life.
It premieres on Thursday 28 September on DSTV Channel 322 (MTV Base)

Nasty C released his fifth studio album of the same name as the documentary this month, and shared that he was nervous and excited about it.
The rapper shared that the album is rather personal, and that he felt okay with being vulnerable and expressing his emotions as a new dad.
The 26-year-old rapper, who grew up in Durban, welcomed his first child Olivier with his long-time girlfriend two months ago.
“I have a lot of new things happening in my life, some are good and some are bad. I feel like I’m a whole new person,” he said early in September.
“When you listen to the song Release Me, I speak a lot about letting go of all the other things people know me for.”
During the launch of the album, it was also announced that Nasty C’s music had reached a milestone of 850-million streams.
