Shaka Ilembe has a fantastic cast, and one of the stars that shone the brightest in the popular Mzansi Series is Hope Mbhele.
Since the release of the star studded drama in June, Hope Mbhele who portrayed the role of Baleka in Shaka Ilembe was a healer for the Mthethwa King Jobe (played alongside Hamilton Dlamini and later King Makhasana of the Mabhudu (played by Vusi Kunene). has concluded her role in the Epic series.
Hope Mbhele took to her instagram account on Wednesday, 16 August to announce her exit from the series.
“A woman choosing herself and her own path. May we be more of these women. 🤍🙏🏽 until we meet again Baleka. Happy Choose Day,” she wrote.
Hope has brought so much depth and emotion to the role of Baleka and her relationship with Mthethwa King Jobe that we’d be remiss not to take a moment to appreciate her immense contribution to the loved Mzansi series.
