Lebo Morake has been struck by another discovery about his estranged wife Pretty Samuels. The lion king actor reportedly stumbled across muti “tucked away” in his estranged wife’s closet.
The composer’s acrimonious split from current wife Pretty Samuels after 18 months of marriage is allegedly exposing things that have been lurking in the shadows of the relationship.
On Monday Morake said he gave instructions to his assistant to pack his estranged wife’s belongings after he filed for divorce and prevented her from having access to his home at Waterfall Country Estate in Midrand.
“We were packing her stuff very nicely so that when she is ready to come collect her belongings she can pick them up,” he said in a statement.
When confronted about the situation, Pretty insisted that she won’t respond to “fake news and misrepresentation of the truth” until her family had met with Morake’s family.
“I refuse to be part of the mediocre media smear campaign against a defenseless woman. A marriage is not about two people, a marriage binds families as well.
“As a wife, I will not be drawn to defend or comment any further on me and my families’ private affairs as I respect both the Morake and Samuels families.”
Lebo Morake alleged his assistant stumbled upon traditional medicines “tucked away” behind her clothing.
They later also discovered Isibopho hanging from a tree. “I didn’t know about it. I just discovered this now. I’ve still got to process this. This thing freaked me out. It’s shocking that all this time I am staying with a person who is using these things without my knowledge.”
Popular sangoma Gogo Skhotheni disclosed that, the herbs Lebo Morake found in their home were usually used to strengthen a relationship.
“These things are used by a person who wants to keep their relationship. When you put a herb (Mlomo omnandi skhafulo) underneath the tongue, it’s for when you speak to the person so they must listen to you. Geza is for you to be attracted to that person. The Isibopho is a tie so the relationship never ends.”
Following Lebo M’s demand to have his estranged wife return his Mercedes-Benz on Sunday evening he received a text message from Pretty notifying him his car had been “dropped off” at Nicolway Bryanston in the underground parking.
This after she allegedly said she would return to her marital home with the car in “respect” of both families.
Using his spare key Lebo M drove the car to his home.
“The car is here. I need to make sure due diligence is done on the car because I don’t know where it has been. Stuff as simple as traffic tickets.
“I have a fiduciary duty as a citizen to inform the police this car was not in my presence. The tracker was taken out in February. When the car disappeared there was no tracker.”
