Lindiwe Zulu stressed this in a gathering at the 47th anniversary of the Soweto uprisings. Lindiwe says, there are other opportunities that can be pursued to better their circumstance. In response to her message, the youth admitted with one voice that the R350 grant they receive is not enough to sustain basic needs.
“It is not everybody that is gonna go to university, some are going to go to technikons. Some are going to start their own businesses. “We brought them here to expose them to their future and they are going to be going around the stands to see life beyond where they live” she said.
