AKA’s Mom, Lynn Forbes has recently made waves in the South African media space by launching her reality podcast series.

Lynn Forbes aims to use the new podcast titled “ Outspoken Owls” to highlight the various ways of understanding and sailing life as a Middle aged woman.

AKA’s mom, will not be hosting the show alone as she will be joined by Katie Mohamed. Both will put their voices together to give women valuable insights and perspectives on how they can truly experience a more quality life and explore it from a different perspective.

“We are thrilled to launch Outspoken Owls and look forward to sharing insights and experiences via storytelling to our audience,” remarks Katie, the executive director at Brandfusion and founder of W-Suite — a women empowerment initiative.

Outspoken Owls offers conversation and tête-à-tête that is unapologetic, opinionated, entertaining, enlightening, and engaging.

According to the women each episode is not explicitly about women, but there is a purposeful lean towards women’s issues.
The podcast focuses on women, but it is said that men will also gain from it.

Katie said that Outspoken Owls will not only center on women but on other life relating issues and for everyone including men to broaden their knowledge.

“Women will relate to the podcast — but many men will learn from it. And I think both those audiences are important,” Katie said.

In addition, Lynn said, “We have stories to share that I feel will inspire our audience, but we also want to learn from our audience, whether they relate to our shared experiences.”
