L’vovo Derrango has been facing health challenges with a lot of monitoring and attention put in place to manage his health situation.
It was confirmed that he suffered a minor stroke and had been hospitalized. Many thought that the singer had passed away following his silence and the stroke.

The Johannesburg – Thokozani Ndlovu, fondly known as L’vovo Derrango was expected to wow fans with a performance at the upcoming Cotton Fest Durban but that has been changed.
L’vovo Derrango has announced that he will not be performing at the Cotton Fest this Saturday due to health concerns.
He disclosed that his health has been in bad condition and how he witnessed his life flash before him.
“The past few months have been one of the toughest periods in my life … I’ve literally had to watch my life flash before me. Through it all, I’ve received unwavering support from my fans, family and friends. I’ve been in constant engagement with my doctor these past few days about my condition,” he wrote.

He apologized to fans and the festival organizers, saying he would have loved to have made his comeback from the incident at the event.
“I’m sorry to announce that after lengthy discussions, we have taken a decision not to perform at the Cotton Fest this weekend. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused, and I hope to partake in the festival in the future when I have fully recovered.” he wrote.
