Social has gone ablaze following the withdrawal of Levern Jose from the Miss South Africa beauty pageantry.

Levern Jose was among the lucky contestants who scaled through all the stages of the competition to the top 12.

The 23 years has withdrawn from the competition from pressure of being accused of cyber bullying by school mates. Commenting on the matter, the Miss South Africa Organization says that it does not pamper misconduct, and as one of its participants is found wanting, it decided to withdraw her from the competition.

“We accept Levern’s decision to pull out of the competition and respect her for owning her truth and taking this time to focus on her own healing,” the organization said in a press statement.

Levern in press statement said “As a survivor of bullying, I have learned how to protect myself from bullying during my school years. If my actions in protecting myself caused harm to anyone, I offer my sincere apologies. The pain of being a target has left an indelible mark on my heart and I would never intentionally cause any hurt or contribute to someone else’s suffering”
