Hlamalani Mavasa, an actress, is said to be struggling for her life in the intensive care unit after having a stroke.
The actress’s family revealed to newsmen that she suffered from severe depression, which resulted in a stroke.

“It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the sickness of our beloved daughter,” the Mavasa family says.
“The actress, professionally known for playing the character of Matimba on Giyani- Land Of Blood suffered a stroke while alone in the house at midnight on Monday. The stroke affected her ability to speak, write and read.”
Hlamalani Mavasa is claimed to be the breadwinner of her family, thus she has a lot of responsibilities, which has led to her illness.
