Crown Gospel Music Awards announced a change in venue as they celebrate 16 years of grace this year. The event has been moved from Orlando Stadium in Soweto to the FNB stadium and is set to take place on November 26.
The ceremony have begun their build-up projects with community workshops and a Gospel music talent search in five areas.

These places include Kagiso Memorial, Sebokeng – AFM Church, Daveyton – Rhoo Hlatshwayo Centre, Diepsloot – Methodist Church, and North Saulsville Arena.
Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule, executive producer of the awards, said: “We are bringing collecting agencies, personal branding specialists, entertainment lawyers and music coaches.
The talent search will also see the winners getting an opportunity to perform at the Crown Gospel Music Awards stage on November 26.”
“So far, we are pleased with the number of applications received and we look forward to receiving more.
In total, we have 30 categories, with two new ones, including the most streamed category and the live event category. We encourage artists to take advantage of these,” said Rofhiwa Nethengwe, head of talent at the Crown Gospel Music Awards.
