Miss SA, Lalela Mswane Makes it to top 3 Miss Universe 2021

Mswane, from KwaSokhulu in Richards Bay, represented South Africa in the competition, which was hosted by comedian Steve Harvey and featured contestants from 80 countries.

Miss South Africa, Lalela Mswane, finished third in the Miss Universe competition on Sunday, December 12th, 2021.

In the midst of controversy, the 24-year-old gracefully represented her country.

Miss South Africa, Miss Paraguay, and Miss India finished first, second, and third, respectively.

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, who represented India, was crowned Miss Universe 2021, with Miss Paraguay finishing as first runner-up.

Mswane, from KwaSokhulu in Richards Bay, represented South Africa in the competition, which was hosted by comedian Steve Harvey and featured contestants from 80 countries.

“I would like young women to know that since the beginning of time they have had everything within them to achieve anything they wanted, it is the world that convinced that we do not,” Miss SA said in her final speech.
